Fate/Grand Order Tour coming to U.S., Anime Central

Aniplex of America has announced the first ever Fate/Grand Order event in the U.S.— a two-day kick-off celebration starting in Los Angeles this Saturday (Feb. 23) at the California Market Center.

For those of us in the Midwest, Aniplex also announced the tour will be making its way to Anime Central and other popular U.S. anime conventions. Aniplex plans to take the event to Anime Expo (Los Angeles, CA), Anime Weekend Atlanta (Atlanta, GA), and finally, Anime NYC (New York, NY) in November.

Fans can expect exclusive merchandise and multiple attractions at each stop on the tour, including immersive AR/VR experiences, challenge quests, and other special exhibits! Aniplex gave the following event details in their official press release:

“The Fate/Grand Order U.S.A. Tour 2019 will also have a mesmerizing Noble Phantasm Exhibit featuring life-size weapons from the game including both Jeanne d’Arc and Jeanne d’Arc (Alter)’s flags, Nero Claudius’s Aestus Estus, Gilgamesh’s sword, Ea, Leonardo da Vinci’s staff, and the unveiling of the never-before-seen Sakata Kintoki (Rider)’s Golden Bear and Altria Pendragon (Alter)’s Excalibur Morgan.”

The California event this weekend will include talent panels and stage events featuring:   

  • Satoshi Tsuruoka – Voice of Arash / Gilles de Rais / Caligula / Spartacus
  • Yosuke Shiokawa – Creative Producer of FGO PROJECT (Sunday Only)
  • Anime “Fate/Grand
    Order – Absolute Demonic Front” Special Panel
  • Kigurumi Greeting
  • Cosplay Gathering
