International Cosplay Qualifying Competition Coming To Lansing

Have you ever dreamed about competing internationally in cosplay? The winning duo of the Clara Cow’s Cosplay Cup (CCCC) US qualifying round will get the chance to compete for the cup in the Netherlands. The US qualifying round of the CCCC is coming to Shuto Con in Lansing, Michigan on March 24th.

Shuto Con is an annual anime and cosplay convention that focuses on interactive and competitive cosplay. Every year, Shuto Con runs its own competitive cosplay contests, but this is the first year the convention will be hosting a competition of this scale.

The qualifying round will consist of cosplayer team duos performing a 2-minute walk-on skit before a panel of judges. The competition welcomes cosplayers of both Eastern and Western media types. A Shuto Con registration badge is required to participate in the event. Competitors must be 18 years of age or above to participate, and their cosplay must be entirely hand-crafted.  The winning duo will move on to the international cup competition on June 16th, 2018 in the Netherlands.
